take the plunge

Wearing- Jumpsuit: Story By Tang, Clutch: Steve Madden, Heels: Kobe Husk

Mmm silk jumpsuit! This is my second post featuring Story by Tang and its safe to say I'm now a big fan! Never ever before have I worn a low back or a plunging neckline. But hey I don't have my legs out so I'm balancing out the sexy! So for all my fellow flat chested ladies who think they can't pull off a plunging neckline I hope I inspire you to be bold too!

Defined waist, red wine lips, orange pop and zebra print oversized envelope... these are the few of my favourite things!

layer upon layer

Wearing- Top & Shorts: Ebony Eve, Blazer: Lioness, Heels: Steve Madden, Bracelet: Kookai, Earrings: Parfois (European store)

So refreshing to wear light colours, I always feel so fresh (and so clean) when I'm wearing white! It can be a bit daunting to wear white but this gorgeous two piece worked in perfectly for Spring with its splashes of delicate blossoms in floral bright hues.

The execution of these effeminate layers and peplum pleats works a treat in creating bold yet subtle definition, shape and movement. Not to mention my strong shoulder blazer with cut out accents to bring the whole look together when the wind hits!

As I've always said you can never go wrong with minimal/ nude accessories and I'd like to think that it looks like I have Barbie feet with her permanent arch made for her stiletto's because my shoes are so damn nude and invisibly perfect love love love them! I'll just have to wear these with everything..

bondi breeze

After shooting at the iconic Bondi Beach I had to stop and remember what a beautiful city I/ we live in! Looking at this gorgeous colour palette and artwork of the strip is truly inspiring. Nothing clears the mind more than the smell and sounds of the beach! Plus Bondi's relaxing atmosphere with everybody out having fun and appreciating the stupendous sun, brilliant blue sky and sea. This is now my second comfortable/ casual outfit in a row and I am hoping you are enjoying it as much as I am!

For those of my subscribers not from Sydney or Australia, here’s a couple shots of the strip for you. I just had to post these for my non Aussie readers, the essence and culture of Bondi is essentially captured within these wildly imaginative legal graffiti artworks.

The hat, I'm obsessed and adore this magenta colour and it does its job of shielding my face from the harsh Aussie sun. I must admit I may have channelled a certain musical idol of mine subconsciously, bet you can’t guess who ;). Oh and the shoes! Can’t get more Bondi Hipster than a pair of loafers, I love the floral print on these. I remember having a very similar canvas pair when I was about 8, and I used to think I was so bad ass wearing it with my overalls! Wearing my favourite shade in these Story by Tang shorts was a no brainer and I haven’t worn a printed tee in ages so I’m happy to continue with many more ‘firsts’ ‘haven’t in ages’ and childhood revivals on this blog! Overall cutesy sorbet shades, prints and florals.. vanilla sweet!

cul-del-sac

Wearing-  Top: Sugar Lips, Pants: MinkPink, Sunnies: Le Specs, Watch Hugo Boss (men's), Sneakers: Novo

Sunday's are my casual (lazy) days and with the long weekend ahead of me I amped up the comfort factor even more. Also seeing how my Dad shot this for me I thought it was the most appropriate father/daughter outfit that I had up my sleeve!

I pretty much haven't owned a pair of sneakers since year 10 PE so of course typical me the first pair I get my hands on are wedge heeled!! Overall my look ended up kinda street/sporty with my fat men's watch, baseball-esque Sugar Lips tee, my staple leggings (which I've worn in a previous post here) and street stylin' it up with retro inspired velcro sneakers and my new favourite pair of giant sunnies.

I promise I did not add in the sun's rays that is all natural in its 3pm glory outside my house!

Here's to more Sunday arvo lazies!

seasonal spring

Wearing- Shirt: Love Milly, Skirt: Mister Zimi, Necklace: Collette by Collette Dinnigan for Lovisa, Rings: Diva, Boots: Rubi Shoes
Shot By: Josh Groom

I have been loving any kind of button up blouse or shirt a lot lately; tied up, tucked in, half way out, buttoned to the top, bat wing, laced up, peter pan collars love it all! So this number was no exception, my lovely little sister brought me back this flamingoesque – shirt from her first Euro trip. It’s extra special touch was the slight ruching on the shoulders which gives off such a nice silhouette.

Paired with this gorgeous leather skirt from Mister Zimi and ankle booties, I have my winning combo that can be interchanged with pretty much anything in my wardrobe. You may or may not know already but I am a huge fan of staples that are versatile and can be worn at any time of the year. So pieces like this could transition very easily between Spring and Winter.. add in a tight there, a blazer here, change up a heel there and your done!

I have some fun Springy(?) looks coming up that I can’t  wait to post! Hmm Spring mental list for myself: regular diy pedis, healthy doses of vitamin D, drink more water and learn how to change up my hair for blog shoots!
