We all have to start out somewhere and it's hard to believe that even supermodels were subject to cut-throat casting calls and go-sees before they could demand no less than $10,000 a day! Distinguished NYC Casting Director Douglas Perrett is soon to release his book 'Wild Things' containing his private collection of polaroid snaps dating from 2000-2010.

Pre-winged Aussie's Miranda Kerr and Abbey Lee Kershaw are snapped in their natural, fresh faced beauty. Also featured in the volume are fellow Angels Chanel Iman, Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Candice Swanepoel. So refreshing to see these girls in their true form minus all the hair extensions, eye lashes and push up bras (as much as I love it!)

Only 250 copies are to be released worldwide, now THAT'S one exclusive coffee table book!

Catherine McNeil is BACK!

I remember as a teen flipping through the pages of my fave magazine 'Girlfriend' to read that Catherine McNeil was the winner of their now coveted Model competition. I stared in awe and envy at her freakish bone structure and those CHEEK BONES! At the tender age of 14 her career sky rocketed with her stomping the catwalk for fashion giants such as YSL, D & G, Louis Vuitton, Versace need I say more! Since her 2 year absence from the modelling world for whatever reason people will speculate and form their own ideas on what/where/ who she was doing but for me who cares I'm just pumped that the Bogan from Logan is back!

And what a place to be back! The androgynous beauty is now the face of Seafolly's 2012 campaign. Let's take a moment to take in this stunner............

Catherine is looking ahhhhmazing with a bronzed tan and accessorised with Jack Vanderhart she is positively oozing some serious European/ Latina 60's pin up nostalgia! I cannot wait to see the rest of the gorgeousness. Will keep you informed of course :)

AACTA Awards 2012 Red Carpet looks

Last week I had a nice drool over some of the Red Carpet dresses at the AACTA Awards (formerly ASTRA) The AACTA awards are Australia's calling to the Golden Globe's. So our local A Listers have an excuse to strut their stuff on home soil for once!

Colour pallets this year was quite on par with this year's SAG's which was a delightful gradation of off white's, creams, golds, mochas, nudes and of course black. I especially loved Miranda Kerr's and Rachel Taylor's looks the cream of the crop in my book, both beauties are rocking Aussie Designers. Miranda's oozing her usual sexiness in Collette Dinnigan and Rachel in Dion Lee, thumbs up for supporting Aussie fashion! Special mention goes to the uber chic Cate Blanchett wearing a gold embellished Alexander McQueen- velvet heaven!
