triple swirl

Wearing - Top and Pants: Staple The Label, Heels and Clutch: Nine West, Ring: Sarah and Sebastian

Who loved Triple Swirls growing up! I instantly thought of the delightful summer ice cream as soon as I saw these silk graphic pants with its flurry of pretty pinks and purples. Even more so when we stumbled across this amazing graffiti art with its gradient of sunset shaded swirls.

This Staple the Label number is so fun and summery, perfect for any festive celebrations coming up. My high shine Nine West disco heels takes me straight into party mode and works perfectly against the bright shades. Paper bags style pants work perfectly with a form fitting or cropped top, this magenta racer style singlet is totally fitting with this strawberry chuppa chup lollypop look I'm going for- complete with my giant chuppa chup bun head. My boyfriend loves to call me this whenever I wear my hair like this, ahh which is quite regularly.

I use my old ‘horse tail’ pony tail extensions to create an extra-large bun like this. So if you’re like me and spent your childhood and adolescence performing in eisteddfods then maybe you too will have (5) hair pieces lying around, so even though the horse tail high pony tail look has died and will never resurface, keep them and we can all be chuppa chup heads together!!

Hmm do I always relate my looks to confectionary items?

jacaranda trees

Wearing - Shirt: The Eleventh Hour, Pants: Ellison, Heels: Kookai

Did I mention that I love floral print? Pretty sure you would know by now! Especially paired with my iridescent white shirt. Don’t think the camera quite picks it up but it’s a great feminine fun twist on a tailored white button down.

The purples and greys perfectly complements Spring’s Jacaranda trees. These delicate blossoms literally covered every car and was flooded in this Surry Hills back alley. A dream shot of mine was to create a shower of flowers as they descend defocused in the background. Many attempts of poking and prodding the branches took place with a failed result of a few measly flowers falling out. But hey we tried, I’m sure plenty more opportunities of creating a dream scenic moment will come up, flowers and floral print included.

suit up!

Wearing- Blazer & Pants: Nookie, Clutch & Heels: Aldo, Top: Warehouse, Ring: Lovisa

So I haven't been blogging for very long but I already have an overflowing amount of different floral folders saved on my hard drive. I can't get enough of it, I don't know what it is but I've been drawn like a magnet to any kind of rose, lilly, petunia, tulip the whole garden!

My posts are of course my style but I like to think that my readers can interpret fashion the way they want to. A floral suit definitely isn't within everyone's taste but it can easily be worn as separates. Team floral pants printed pants with a floaty pastel blouse or a floral blazer with your favourite skinnies and bright pumps! As my usual safe road, I stuck to neutral toned accessories to let my garden palette pop against the fresh summer whites.

Here's to another first, wearing a hybrid kimono/tuxedo shirt! This amazing silk shirt by 3.1 Phillp Lim took me straight into Oriental nuances paired with masculine style vibes.

With a golden accents in the form of little wishbone and lucky horse shoe by Recreational Studio, and effortlessly elegant Novo heels my culture clashing ensemble is complete who knew bib panels and extra long cuffs could look so damn cool!
