Floral print always feels so fresh and fun to wear and it worked so well against the backdrop of Hyde Park.

This outfit is very easy and comfortable, so much so it felt like I was walking around in silk pj's with heels. Please note, I do not condone this kind of behaviour ;)

Above is a quick set I put together showcasing some gorgeous floral arranged pieces that I have my eye on. What's great about this trend is that you can mix and match colours and prints as well as pair with neutrals. You basically can't escape floral at the moment, it's been especially popular in  trousers, like my post here.

Don't forget my Giveaway is still open! (To enter click here). I have been receiving some great responses but only through email so far. I really wish I could show you some of the creative entries I am receiving so please don't be shy to post publicly, you may just inspire someone!

Let me know if you'd like for me to include sets in my posts more often?

Give-Away time!

Gemme Sorbet is just past its 6 month Birthday, so I thought to celebrate I will host my FIRST give away! I've teamed up with High Street UK brand Warehouse who have launched their Australian online store featuring their gorgeous new collection! Expect some classic, cool, fun and feminine pieces ladies!

This sequined, magenta/ hot pink number is from their 'Special Occasion' collection but I decided to dress it down for a day look. Keeping in theme with Spring/ Summer I went a bit crazy with the accessories with accenting neon and fluro colours and chucked on a blue denim jacket - which is always the easiest piece to style with when I'm not feeling super girly. But of course I've ended up a walking contradiction once again by finishing the look off with hot pink and baby blue Malibu Barbie-esque wedges!

I will be giving this dress away (brand new) to ONE lucky reader! See how you can enter below, I've made it very easy to enter.

Wearing- Dress: Warehouse, Denim Jacket: Vintage,  Bracelets & Cuff: Lovisa, Bag  & Wedges (available end of August): Novo
Shot by: Josh Groom

How to enter:
1. Must be subscribed to my Facebook page
2. Leave a comment below by telling me "how you would style this dress" That's it!

Unfortunately this round the competition is open for Australian residents only.

Make sure when entering to leave your email address along with your answer, or post through your google profile. If you'd rather not post your email address, you can also email me at gemmesorbet@gmail.com.

I will be choosing the lucky winner based on their stylish and creative flair!

Competition closes 7pm AEST on the 20th August 2012.

I look forward to reading your gorgeous responses! Don't forget to like my Facebook to be in the running :)

Yep, still Winter.. I beat my Winter blues by wearing anything that resembles a blanket or has been lifted from my Grandma's wardrobe. I'm putting a modern twist on my blanket fixation by opting for an on trend Aztec print which has been huge this year and will be for next season also. Here's my last Aztec inspired look.

Two years ago I was determined to find a purse friendly version of the now infamous Balenciaga Harness boots worn frequently by Mary Kate Olsen and I luckily found some from a seller in China through eBay. Now I'm no Mary Kate size wise, but the heels on these behemoths are umm 14 inches so hopefully you can imagine what height that makes a five foot niner..
